珠串足脛飾與腳踝飾 / Carnelian Beaded Leglet and Anklet

 

噶瑪蘭盛裝配戴的首飾，還包括瑪瑙珠串足脛飾（# 915.3.206.a）和腳踝飾（# 915.3.206.b）。足脛飾與腕飾類似，也是複串珠串平行並連而成，二側和中央有貝板間隔。隔板側面穿有小孔穿入珠串。

 

The carnelian beaded leglet and anklet were worn by the Kavalan people to decorate the lower part of legs and ankles when they dressed for formal rituals. Similar to the bracelet, the leglet and anklet are made of three strings of threaded red carnelian beads. These beaded ornamental rings are fringed or divided by small white shell plates, some of which have copper bells attached to produce sounds when the legs move.
